IMPROVING THE LIVES OF CHILDREN AFFECTED BY HIV & AIDS.

Watch the video to see how we do it.

Since 2005, The Egmont Trust has committed over £13.2 million to 118 partner organisations in Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Across the region, 25 million people are infected with HIV. Millions more are affected.

Our staff draw on extensive local networks and contacts to find inspirational grassroots organisations that are able to deliver tangible results in improving the lives of children affected by HIV & AIDS.

Here are three things that make us different

Giving 100%

Our Patrons & Trustees cover all our operating costs in the UK and Africa enabling 100% of your donations to go directly to projects making a difference to AIDS affected families.

Local Partners

We believe that the people most affected by AIDS in Africa are best at understanding, planning and implementing projects to alleviate the impact that the epidemic has on children and their families.

Portfolio Model

Our portfolio of partners enables us to spread risk while identifying effective approaches that can be scaled up with greater investment.

Why HIV & AIDS?

Nearly 26 million people in sub-Saharan Africa are infected with HIV. The impact AIDS has on some of the world's poorest children is immeasurable.

How Egmont Helps

1 in 10 people are infected in the countries our partners work in. Almost everyone is affected by someone living with HIV.
